Opća bolnica Zadar danas je predstavila projekt „Solarna elektrana Opća bolnica Zadar“ kojim će smanjiti troškove električne energije i okrenuti se obnovljivim izvorima.
Na konferenciji su Projekt predstavili: Željko Čulina – ravnatelj Opće bolnice Zadar, Šime Vicković – zamjenik župana Zadarske županije, Lovre Karamarko – Ministarstvo regionalnog razvoja i fondova Europske unije, Matija Vajdić – voditelj odjela za obnovljive izvore energije, klimu i zaštitu okoliša, Energetski institut Hrvoje Požar, te državni tajnik, izv. prof. dr. sc. Silvio Bašić – Ministarstvo zdravstva Republike Hrvatske.
Ukupna površina elektrane iznosit će 1.111 m2, uz izlaznu snagu od 220 kW i instalirani kapacitet 0,23 MW koji će proizvoditi 279.063 kWh električne energije godišnje.
Izgradnja solarne elektrane na krovu zgrade Poliklinike doprinijet će sigurnosti opskrbe i zaštiti okoliša smanjenjem emisija CO2 za 65,3 tona godišnje, a dodatno će smanjiti potrošnju električne energije primljene iz elektroenergetske distribucijske mreže za 19,11%.
Ušteđena sredstva omogućit će daljnja ulaganja u modernizaciju bolničke opreme i unapređenje zdravstvenih usluga.
Izgradnja solarne elektrane također doprinosi cilju Programa „Energija i klimatske promjene“ povećanjem korištenja tehnologija s manjom emisijom ugljika i povećanom sigurnosti opskrbe energijom u Republici Hrvatskoj.
Projekt je financiran od Islanda, Lihtenštajna i Norveške kroz Financijski mehanizam Europskog gospodarskog prostora (EGP) 2014.-2021. uz nacionalno sufinanciranje Republike Hrvatske u okviru Programa „Energija i klimatske promjene“.
Ukupna vrijednost investicije iznosi 261.352,88 € od čega je iznos bespovratnih sredstava 222.149,95 €. Trajanje projekta predviđeno je od 15. lipnja 2022. do 15. studenog 2023. godine.
Koristi koje će solarna elektrana Opće bolnice Zadar donijeti ne samo bolnici nego i široj zajednici bit će primjer i poticaj lokalnim i nacionalnim ustanovama na korištenje obnovljivih izvora energije.
U sklopu projekta održat će se i nekoliko javnih savjetovanja za poslovnu zajednicu i zdravstvene ustanove te za opću javnost, a sve informacije bit će dostupne na web stranici www.bolnica-zadar.hr te na društvenim mrežama Projekta.

Zadar General Hospital has unveiled its latest project – the “Solar Power Plant General Hospital Zadar” – which aims to reduce electricity costs and shift towards renewable energy sources. The project was presented at a conference by several key figures involved in the project, including the Director of Zadar General Hospital, the Deputy Prefect of Zadar County, and representatives from various government departments, including the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar, and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia.
The solar power plant will be constructed on the roof of the Polyclinic building, with a total area of 1,111 m2 and an output of 220 kW. It will have an installed capacity of 0.23 MW, producing 279,063 kWh of electricity per year. This will not only reduce electricity costs but also contribute to environmental protection by reducing CO2 emissions by 65.3 tons per year. Additionally, it will reduce the consumption of electricity received from the electricity distribution network by 19.11%.
The funds saved from this initiative will be invested in the modernization of hospital equipment and the improvement of health services. The project is also in line with the Energy and Climate Change Programme’s goal of increasing the use of technologies with lower carbon emissions and increased security of energy supply in the Republic of Croatia.
The project is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway through the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) 2014-2021 with national co-financing of the Republic of Croatia under the Energy and Climate Change Programme. The total value of the investment is € 261,352.88, with a grant amount of € 222,149.95. The duration of the project is scheduled from June 15, 2022, to November 15, 2023.
The installation of the solar power plant not only benefits the hospital but also has wider implications for the local community and serves as an example for national institutions to shift towards renewable energy sources. As part of the project, several public consultations will be held to gather feedback from the business community, health institutions, and the general public.
